Booking deposit and payment process:
To save the date for your event head over to the enquires form on our website. After you have filled in the enquires form and submitted, Love Mel Ltd will get back to you within 24 hours. After you sign the contract we can save your time and date and get started! At this stage we take a 10% non-refundable deposit of the balance stated in the contract. The booking deposit is non-refundable if the date is changed or if the event is cancelled. The booking deposit covers substantial cost of materials and resources made by Love Mel Ltd. The client understands and agrees that the remaining balance is due no less than 4 weeks prior to the event. The remaining balance can be paid in instalments and must be agreed in the contract. If your chosen date is in less than 4 weeks full payment is required.

Delivery:
There is no delivery charge within a 20 mile radius of Love Mel Ltd. Any event outside of this will be charged delivery at 45p a mile.

Set up of your event:
A minimum of 4 hours prior to event must be agreed with client and venue to allow for set up. 2 hours after the event must also be agreed to break down and clear away all decorations. Set up can take place the night before the event but must be agreed by all parties i.e the client, venue and Love Mel Ltd.

Ownership:
Most products and services at Love Mel Ltd are available for hire. All hire products and decorations are the property of Love Mel Ltd. All products that are for hire only will be listed in contract. Other products not included in hire services are exempt from this, such as: cakes, customised cake topper and customised embroidery.

Damages:
Any damages made by guests, venue staff or client will need to be replaced at cost price. A damages deposit will be agreed with client at booking. This will not be paid back to client if products and decorations are damaged. Love Mel Ltd reserves the right to agree if a damage's deposit is required.

Accidental clause:
Love Mel Ltd is not responsible for accidents or injuries related to our products and decorations that are caused through mishandling by the client, clients guests or venue staff.

Limit of Liability:
If Love Mel Ltd is unable to complete services due to extreme instances (i.e death, accident, extreme weather conditions or unsafe conditions at the venue) then Love Mel Ltd is not responsible for non-completion of services. Love Mel Ltd and the client is responsible for arranging a change of date or a partial refund can be agreed by Love Mel Ltd and the client.

Consultation:
After the contract has been signed an initial call plus 2 event site visit is free of charge. Further venue site visits may be charged and will be agreed with the client and Love Mel Events Ltd.

Event photos and videos:
All photos and videos taken on the day of the event of our products and services are owned my Love Mel Ltd. Photos and videos are a integral part of advertising, promotions, and booking future clients. All photos and videos may be used on Love Mel Ltd website and a cross all social media platforms. It is the responsibility of the client to let Love Mel Ltd know if there are certain photographs that she/he does not wish to be publicised.

Data Protection:
All personal information gathered from the client will be used for the purpose it was gathered for i.e contracts, payment, booking process and quotes. Personal information will always be processed in a lawful manner. We process information on our clients, suppliers, venue staff and other professional experts as relevant.

Other Suppliers:
Love Mel Ltd is not responsible for setting up or taking down other products from other vendors.

Making Changes:
There can be no changes made to the concept and design plan within 4 weeks of the event date, unless agree with love Mel ltd. Customised items may not be changed.
